The Dollar lost 2 cents against the Euro and the Swiss Franc. – inflation
Gold gained $19 – inflation
Oil and gasoline jumped to nearly $70. – inflation

Stocks jumped upward to new near term highs today – on exuberant enthusiasm – nothing much else.
Gold started back up, and Oil and gasoline jumped massively – only speculation could cause the volatility we have seen in the past two days in the energy futures market.

Stocks and bonds went sideways again today. The markets are trying to figure out their directions.
The Dollar gained over one cent today, and Gold lost $12 – providing another buying opportunity.
Oil and gasoline fell a large amount – probably on those speculator accusations coming out on manipulation.

Everything went sideways today, except the Dollar and Gold. It definitely looks like stocks have topped out, but time will tell.
The Dollar strengthened somewhat, and gold fell significantly. Is this what we can expect in a down stock market?

Stocks jumped over 9000 on the Dow today on the great news of the housing market, up 188 points.
Bonds increased significantly in interest rates – bad news if this continues.
The Dollar and Gold both went sideways today.
