Issue 8-15-08
There was really no news out there today. Stocks moved sideways, but bonds continued their increase in value (decrease in interest rates) as people continued to feel that inflation is getting better, so maybe treasuries won’t go up. Good luck.
Oil and gasoline continued their downward trend, and this is providing the impetus to the markets.
Gold fell below $800 and is now in the range to start buying. If you are a gold buyer, now is the time to start buying with small quantities. Wait and see if the market pushes the price down lower, and just follow it down buying all the way. Sound silly? It may be silly, or the price could come bouncing back with a huge rebound leaving this price unavailable in the future.
